Facebook profile followers have become so popular most account holders you'll notice have that gadget on their account it's a trend right? but the still those accounts without that gadget because they don't know how to enable the gadget not all don't have it for that reason some do know how to enable that gadget but are too embarassed to display it on public because their followers are few or they have no followers at all. HOW TO ENABLE THE GADGET
Enabling the Facebook followers gadget is very easy as long as you have internet connection of course, I'll write step by step with screenshots to make you understand easily, just follow the red lines and cicles i tried making in the screenshots
1) STEP ONE
You press the hamburger looking icon which is at the top right corner of your Facebook account

In the settings there's also many options which you'll get but go straight to where it says AUDIENCE AND VISIBILITY and search for where it says FOLLOWERS AND PUBLIC CONTENT and then press the

From there go set everything to public like who can follow you, see your friends on your timeline, comments and so many options it should look like the screenshot there 
so when you done with this, now go to your profile

and there go to your intro
as you scroll down in your intro you'll see the followed by gadget
which you can now choose to make public or decide to still keep it private if you are not satisfied with the amount followers you have and when you are done press save and it's all set, otherwise it is as easy as taking a shower
WHAT ARE FACEBOOK PROFILE FOLLOWERS AND HOW TO GET THEM
If you are following closely you'll notice that I'm using Facebook profile followers instead of just saying Facebook followers, well it's for a reason because there's facebook page followers and Facebook profile followers so it does not mean if you have a Facebook page with a Thousand followers then your account will have the thousand followers too no it's two different things, the page followers are different from profile followers. Facebook profile followers are your actual followers like the ones on your Instagram where by for the page are a separate thing, what I mean is you might have a million followers on your Facebook Page but still turn out to have Zero Profile followers. Now here is how the Facebook followers work, a user can either decide to follow you as soon as you allow that gadget from your settings the will be a option for another user to either follow you, send a friend request and for some accounts who prefer having more followers they can disable the friend request gadget from their account and with this account when you check it you'll see that they don't have a friend request gadget just a follow gadget so tricky right? Well with this gadget you'll make alot of followers especially if you're a active user, just take advantage of your current friends and be active in their posts that way your friends friends will want to send you friend requests but will be sent directly to your followers gadget and since not many understand this they will follow you unknowingly thinking you'll then except their request. Another way to increase your profile followers is by letting the friend request gadget do the magic, you just need to be active and it will magically work for you, now here is how it works as you may know as soon as a new friend request comes in you respond either to accept the request or decline, when you accept the request it means you and that user are friends but when you decline it or delete it and the user doesn't cancel their request then that user becomes your follower and let's be real not everyone comes back to check on the friend requests they've sent, and some check but wait as the might think the person didn't yet see their request without realising that the are now following the account, here is the truck if you want to increase your followers in a innocent way, don't forget to be active so your account is suggest more, than as you especially appear in your friends friends suggestions they will curiously send you friend requests when you recieve this requests just delete them, facebook won't notify that user, so as soon as you delete them and that user still does not cancel it and it stays for 24hours like that then that user will become your follower for sure, if you receive so many friend requests then you'll surely hit a thousand followers with this trick, beacause there's a theory on facebook which says a person can only have upto 5000 followers and can only follow the same amount too, although I'm now doughting that as there's some accounts with a million followers that's something I'm investing still, otherwise that's the only real way to trick into having more followers. There's also a natural way to get facebook profile followers this is by following other accounts who in turn you ask to follow you back, but this can be time consuming and very slow but otherwise that's a natural way
THE ILLEGAL WAY

This was a trick i saw on my friends account at first i was thrilled as it looked real but later realised it was a disguise i didn't realise until my friend unpranked me, if he could not thus time i would think he actually have a million profile followers now here is the disguise, you go to your profile then press edit public information, then look for intro which is your introduction then the look for where it says link, press add a link then as you choose which link to add look for Spotify and press edit there you can add the amount of followers you want even a million but be sure to write out the numbers and use commas to make it realistic then just like the facebook followers tag example you can say "Followed by 109,974 people" use the comma and the followed must have a capital "F" to make it real as soon as you are done with this add the link and save and make it visible in your profile, immediately when you go to your profile you'll realise the Spotify link you added but you'll see it looks exaclty like a followers gadget this is because of the Spotify icon which looks like the facebook followers gadget, it will take really smart people to tell the difference and for those who don't know they will think you actually have so much followers when you know perfectly well its a disguise, it will make your account look cool
